Is your email in the IATI Registry still correct?
If you publish IATI data, your organisation has registered in the IATI Registry. An important part of that registration is the email address of your organisation. Please check if this email is still correct.
Through this email address, users of the data can contact you about your data, for example because they have questions about an activity. It is also a way for IATI itself to contact you, and this will soon become more important than it already was. In the third quarter of this year, IATI plans to make a change in the IATI Registry. More details can be found on the IATI Connect website. To make sure you stay up to date on the changes and how they affect you, please make sure the email address on the registry is correct, and is actually checked by someone who can follow up on questions and other emails about IATI.
It may also be a good idea to make this not a personal email, but a more general alias, or a mailbox which is read by a whole team. That way, you still protect the staff’s privacy, and there will be no problem when personnel turnover makes the email account unusable.
To change the email address in the IATI Registry, log in with the IATI Registry account details for your organisation. If you don’t remember those, you can reset the details through the ‘forgot password?’ link provided at the login page. If you’re stuck, please contact IATI Support at support@iatistandard.org.
