The European Commission is hosting a seminar for member states on aid transparency, organised by the Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA D1) and the International Aid Transparency Initiative.

The seminar will happen in Brussels on the 18th of March. It will provide a unique opportunity to the EU Member States to assess Team Europe’s performance in fostering transparency in development cooperation and align on IATI’s critical role in this area. We will explore how IATI data can drive impactful solutions and will focus on practical approaches to improving transparency, addressing challenges with data quality, and identifying lessons Europe can carry forward to strengthen our collective efforts.

Registration is only open to member state representatives, but we will report back on this event in our next newsletter!

Following this seminar, IATI will also organise a workshop for IATI members and others in the IATI community. More news on this as soon as we have more information available.
